And here’s the thing:
They’re used for a few months… and then they live in landfills (or oceans) for hundreds of years.
Billions of plastic lip balm tubes are thrown away every year. Tiny. Non-recyclable. Easy to ignore.
That didn’t sit right with me.
After years of making my own cosmetics due to skin sensitivities, I couldn’t justify creating more waste just to make something beautiful.
So I didn’t.
