Let’s Talk Packaging 📦

That tiny plastic lip balm tube? It’s usually made from mixed plastics and metals that aren’t easily recyclable, and it can sit in a landfill for hundreds of years. The balm inside might last a few weeks, but the packaging sticks around practically forever. Billions of plastic lip and lipstick tubes are produced every year, and most of them end up in the trash because they’re too small or too complicated to be properly recycled. Cute packaging isn’t cute when it’s trash.

A Better Way 💖✨

So we chose something different. Our tubes are made from sturdy paperboard and are completely plastic-free. When you’re finished, you can recycle them (if accepted locally) or compost them. And even if they do end up in the trash, they’ll break down instead of lingering for centuries. They’re simple to use, too — just push up gently from the bottom and apply. No twisting. No cracking plastic. No extra parts. Just color balm that feels good, in packaging that makes sense.
